I started the Law Office of Adrian Murati in my hometown of Rockford, Illinois, in 2015 and concentrate my law practice on immigration, landlord-tenant law, and personal injury cases.
Professional Background
I graduated magna cum laude from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, and I received my law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Before I started my firm, I worked in a downtown Chicago personal injury law firm on a variety of cases including auto accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, airline negligence, mass torts, and premise liability cases.
At the Law Office of Adrian Murati, I have represented a range of clients from everyday folks to multimillion-dollar companies. I’ve won cases at arbitration or trial in personal injury cases, workers’ compensation cases, employment law, landlord-tenant law (on behalf of both landlords and tenants), and commercial litigation and collections (on behalf of both local and national companies).
I’ve won cases across Illinois including Winnebago County, Cook County, Lake County, and Ogle County. While I mostly represent plaintiffs (aka individuals or companies that are suing someone), I occasionally represent defendants and have successfully resolved cases in their favor either by settlement, motions to dismiss, or trial wins (including directed verdict).
I’ve also represented clients for traffic violations, ordinance violations, divorce proceedings, probate court, social security claims, and federal court. As part of my immigration practice, I’ve helped hundreds of people locally and worldwide gain visas, green cards, and citizenship in the United States.
